Debra Castanedo

It is with great sadness that the family of Debra”Debbie” Castanedo announces her sudden passing on Sunday, October 13, 2019 in Chicago. She is survived and will be greatly missed by her mother Lucy Ortega, brother Tim Castanedo Sr., sisters Barbara Rodriguez, Doreen Valtierra, Darlene (late Jesse) Avalos, Toni (Jesse) Suarez and preceded in death by her father Tony Valtierra and her sister Joanne (Bob) Bettendorf. Debbie was a devoted and beloved aunt to many nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. She was loved and cherished by many friends. She worked for the Chicago Park District for many years.
Everyone is asked to meet at Immaculate Conception Church, 2745 W. 44th St., Chicago on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 10:30 am for Mass of Christian Burial. After Mass, a visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Clearing Funeral Home 5800 W. 63rd St., Chicago.
